Why did you create this fundraiser?

We are deeply disturbed to learn that grassroots conservation organizations such as Tsavo Trust have gone through deep budget cuts because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Elephants of Tsavo deserve to be protected from poachers.

We are using the Freedom Sleeve as a tool to conserve and protect the future of Super Tuskers.

We sincerely hope you will join us.

Why is this product called the "Freedom" Sleeve?

The Freedom Sleeve was the starting point of our family’s personal journey to zero waste and our life’s mission to Make Trash History.

The Freedom Sleeve literally freed us from trash. This little coffee gizmo opened our eyes to the silent trash epidemic we live in. It educated us and inspired us to do more. Essentially with this one step of switching our coffee sleeve, we took a giant leap.

Circa 2020: we live in a home that produces 95 – 98% less trash than when we started in 2016.

Why is it important to save the elephants?

The extinction of one species can cause a ripple effect throughout an ecosystem. Here’s how extinctions breed extinctions

Donations Related Questions

How much of my purchase is donated to saving the Super Tuskers?

100% of your purchase received by us during the 1st and 5th of each month is donated to Tsavo Trust. For the rest of the month, 25% of your purchase goes to the Tsavo Trust.

For example: if you spend $13.75 to buy one Freedom Sleeve, we pay a transaction fee of $0.69 to the Shopify store to process your payment. If your purchase is made from 1st – 5th of each month, $13.06 is donated to Tsavo Trust. For the remaining month, $3.26 is donated to Tsavo Trust for each Freedom Sleeve sold.

What is the Freedom Sleeve fundraising circle?

The Freedom Sleeve fundraising circle is a group of passionate people coming together to raise funds and protect the elephants during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For example: you could organize a Zoom Friday night fundraiser with your friends and family. If you’d like, one of our team members could even make a five minute presentation on this call.

We need your help to organize, mobilize and protect the most vulnerable species during this emergency – all while keeping the “fun” in fundraising.

Do you know someone who can help us cover the transaction fee?

We currently pay a transaction fee of 2.9% + $0.30 to the Shopify store. For example: on a $13.75 purchase, we pay a fee of $0.69, limiting our donation to $13.06 per sleeve.

If you are/know a philanthropist, an aid-agency or a business that is excited to collaborate and help this campaign by covering the Shopify transaction fee, we would love to connect with you.

Please send a one-liner our CEO and we will be in touch asap:
